CCA can assist urban neighborhoods and rural communities with workable strategies that will help them identify and address real issues of concern--issues, including, affordable housing, assessment of environmental impacts, and sustainable economic development.

Community development and planning objectives can be identified and documented through public participation, research and analysis, and various computer applications (such as AutoCAD and Geographic Information Systems). Based upon the results of these efforts, specific goals can be prioritized for each objective. Finally, policy recommendations can presented for adoption and administrative systems established to implement the community planning strategies.
